In addition, the participants were apprised of curative measures to prevent joint pains, he added.

Besides monthly training, a camp of women's wing of the club was also organised at Chakkar village near here, where farm women participated in large numbers.

Rupinder Kaur, coordinator of the women's wing, shed light on the role of women empowerment, and suggested them various measures of coming ahead in farming.

She informed them that home scientists had delivered lectures and gave demonstrations on preparation of snacks and drinks from seasonal fruit and vegetables.

“The participant showed enthusiasm at the camp and suggested us to conduct such camps on a regular basis,” said Rupinder Kaur.
