The vigilance department caught executive engineer RK Sharma for taking bribe of Rs 50,000 from Mukesh Bansal, a contractor, for releasing work order of the nagar nigam to him.
Sharma had with held the order and demanded bribe. A team led by inspector Bhupendra Sharma along with duty magistrate Suresh Kumar caught him red-handed at his residence in Sector-16.
