Ex-mayor Jaspal Pradhan was reportedly attacked by unidentified persons on Tuesday. Though he escaped unhurt, panic gripped in Dharampura bazaar after the incident.
Pradhan was in his office when 10-15 persons laced with sharpedge weapons entered and started arguing with him. Pradhan alleged the group was having allegiance with a minority community, who wanted to illegally grab his office, which was constructed on the wkaf board property on a 99-year of lease.
