Facebook friend, aide rape 15-year-old Haryana girl at gunpoint in car

In her complaint, she alleged that one of the accused, Praveen Kumar, 38, alias Pinnu, a resident of Shastri Colony of Yamunanagar became friends with her daughter on Facebook on July 25 and asked her to meet him.

“When she went to meet him on the evening July 26, he was sitting in a car with another person. They took her in the car and raped her at gunpoint,” the mother alleged.

After the incident they left her near a park and she reached home late at night.

On Tuesday, her mother reached the police and filed a complaint. She said the girl could not tell about the incident and they reached the police as soon as she disclosed it to them.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Narinder Singh, in-charge of Yamunanagar police station said that accused Praveen has been arrested by the police. He was produced in the court and sent to one-day police remand. He said that the investigation was going on to get information about the other accused and said that he will be arrested soon.
