While on the one hand, father of the 14-year-old boy, who was allegedly sexually exploited by his woman tutor and her two brothers, was pursuing a case against the accused, on the other hand, he has already settled the matter with them.
Police said the accused Radha had revealed that the victim's father, she and her brothers Madhav and Raghav had filed an application before the Punjab and Haryana high court seeking quashing of the FIR registered in the matter, before they were arrested.
However, the police are yet to receive any intimation from the court. The police further said Radha had alleged that the boy's father, who was a tenant in her house, had extorted Rs 30 lakh from her and Rs 10 lakh from her father to withdraw his complaint, following which he agreed to approach the high court for getting the FIR quashed.
She further alleged that after being booked for sexually abusing the teenager and making lewd videos of him on October 18 last, his father was in contact with them and had helped them get rented accommodations in Dugri and Atam Park areas to escape arrest.
Inspector Beant Juneja, station house officer (SHO) at Division Number 5 police station, said meanwhile, the accused woman tutor and her brothers were arrested by the police, and on a counter complaint by her father Barjinder Kumar of Sham Nagar, they booked the victim's father and mother under sections 212 (harbouring offender), 216 (harbouring offender who has escaped from custody or whose apprehension has been ordered), 389 (putting person in fear of accusation of offence, in order to commit extortion), 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
