Fertilizers and pesticides recovered from canal in Fazilka

Close on the heels of recovery of fertilisers and pesticides in the Indira Gandhi Canal at Abohar subdivision of Fazilka, another huge cache of fertilisers and pesticides was seized from a canal at Singhpura village in the district.

Close on the heels of recovery of fertilisers and pesticides in the Indira Gandhi Canal at Abohar subdivision of Fazilka, another huge cache of fertilisers and pesticides was seized from a canal at Singhpura village in the district.

Residents found fertilisers and pesticides flowing in Sardan, a small canal, in the morning, following which they reported the matter to police as well as agriculture officials.

A team led by Fazilka agriculture officer Baljeet Singh Cheema recovered the fertilisers and pesticides.
