Five killed in a road mishap near Ludhiana

Five people were killed while a passanger was severly injured as a car rammed into a parked truck at National highway 1 near village Nandpur of Sahnewal on Tuesday.

Five people were killed while a passenger was severely injured as a car rammed into a parked truck at National highway 1 near Nandpur village of Sahnewal on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Ramesh Kumar, his wife Reena, son Rajnish Kumar and his 6-year-old daughter. All of them belonged to Delhi and were here to attend cremation of a relative.

While his injured son has been admitted to a local hospital.

The local police have initiated investigation into the case.
