Former deputy speaker and ex-MLA of Sirhind Bir Devinder Singh on Monday threatened to block the GT Road here on September 3 if the police failed to arrest the accused in the murder of Congress supporter Abu Ram.

Abu Ram was killed on August 23 in Nabipur village when a petty fight between his son and his schoolmate magnified into a heated argument between members of both families.
Singh said the local police had not arrest the accused and added that they were influenced to not take action in the case.
