Glittering end to World Cup

Japinder Narula rendered ‘ Mainu Charya Solva Saal, Bhabhi Meri Gutt Karde’ besides belting out her another popular number, ‘Munda Tu hai Punjabi Sohna, Koi Tere Jaise Nahi Aouna’.

Master Saleem presented his hit songs ‘Mera Peer Jaine Meri Peed’ and ‘Dhol Jagreeo Da’, while Prince Dance Group of the India’s Got Talent fame also performed on the occasion.

Pakistani singer Fariha Parvez rendered old Punjabi hits like ‘Jeda Piche Vekhe Odi Shaamat Aayi Hai’ and ‘Neegah Marda Ayee Ve Mera Laung Guacha’.

While it was Lakwinder Wadali who charmed the spectators with ‘ Tusi Jad Kaul Rehnde Ho Aye’ and ‘Dil Khilya Hi Rehnda’, Roshan Prince presented ‘Oh Punjabi Bole Naa, Main English Vich Arda Si’.

In the beginning of the show, a video clipping showcasing the evolution of Punjab in recent decades was shown. The last scintillating performance was by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, which proved the real show-stealer.
