Border range inspector general Ishwar Chander Sharma inaugurated the Idea 'Junior Championship League 2013', an inter-school sports championship, conceptualised by IDEA Cellular in Amritsar on Monday.
The Amritsar zonal finals, held at Khalsa School, saw students from more than 40 schools compete against each other in sports such as athletics, volleyball, basketball, hockey and judo. The inauguration of the zonal finals received a phenomenal response from the participants, along with their coaches, parents and schools.
