Contrary to the rustic image of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), the party has taken a lead on its rival political parties in the virtual world by creating official pages of its Lok Sabha nominees.
The INLD officially declared the names of party nominees from all the 10 Lok Sabha seats on Friday. Within few hours, the official pages of Kusum Sherwal, fielded by the party from Ambala, Shamsher Singh Kharkharra from Rohtak, RK Sinha from Faridabad, Jaswinder Sandhu from Karnal, were there on the social networking site -Facebook.
While Hisar nominee of the party, Dushyant Chautala, son of senior leader and Dabwali MLA Ajay Chautala, already has considerable fan following on his FB page.
Cartoons attack to beat Hooda
The INLD's cartoon page is a big hit on the social networking site - Facebook.
So far, 20 cartoons have been shared on the wall of the page containing satirical comment on Hooda, which has been liked by more than 4 lakh people and shared by nearly 1 lakh Facebook users.
The cartoon posted on January 28th by INLD's jailed leader Ajay Chautala on his facebook page on Selja's nomination to Rajya Sabha, titlted 'Rajya Sabha chali Selja, Janta bechari mange jawab' was liked by 2,700 users and shared by more than 500 people.
