Naming the channels, he alleged that they were beaming stories that were aimed at defaming him. Jindal alleged that the channels had demanded a hefty sum from him and when he refused to oblige them, they started a "vilification campaign" against him.

The two-time MP said he would file his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha polls at Kurukshetra on March 21.

Addressing gatherings at various places in the town, Jindal said he and his party had ensured all-round development of Kurukshetra constituency and would continue to do so in future.

He listed the development works accomplished during his tenure. "What is more, I have maintained a close contact with the people of the constituency after being elected and solved all their problems, which were brought to my notice," he added.
