Man arrested for kidnapping minor

Taking advantage of crowd outside a house, a man abducted a five-year-old girl on Thursday. But, the girl’s uncle saw the man taking her niece and nabbed him. The accused was handed over to the police, who booked him for kidnapping. The accused has been identified as Pardeep Kumar of Khanna.

In his complaint, girls’ uncle Raj Kumar of Division Number 3 area said due to a religious ceremony there was crowd near their house, which allowed the accused to kidnap the child.

Sub-inspector Bhupinder Singh from Division Number 3 police station said a case under section 363-A (kidnapping) had been registered against the accused.

The police were investigating to know the intentions of the accused.
