Man booked for raping six-year-old girl

Police have booked a resident of Mati Das Nagar here for raping a six-year-old child who was admitted to the civil hospital on Wednesday. Cantonment SHO Jaskaran Singh said that parents of the girl child had complained that their ward was raped by Gurpreet Singh, a driver, earlier this week.

The parents work as labourers and had claimed that that the child was raped when she had gone to play at the neighbor's house.
