Man booked on fraud charges

The Model Town police have booked a local resident Victor for defrauding Subhash Sharma, a Mustapur Kapahat resident, of `10.50 lakh under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Sharma had complained that Victor had taken `10.50 lakh from him on the pretext of sending his brother Kuldeepak Kumar to Italy but to no avail. A case had been registered and hunt was on to nab the accused, economic offences wing in-charge Munish Kumar said.
