Man ends life by hanging

Satnam Singh, a resident of local Central Town, alleged commited suicide by hanging on Friday. Satnam, 35, had returned from The Philippines a few years ago and was uspet at his unemployment. He had also recently fallen into drug addiction.

"His health and mental attitude had been distrubed. When I entered his room at 12 noon to call him for lunch, he was hanging from the roof," said Kirpal Singh, the father. Satnam Singh is married to an Indian hockey player, Kamljeet Kaur and two more daughters survive him. The police have registered a case and started investigations.
