Man held for raping minor

The Nakodar police have arrested Rohit Kumar alias Labhu, a resident of Rurrki village in Phillaur, on the charges of raping a minor. Station house officer (SHO) Rupinder Singh said.

The Nakodar police have arrested Rohit Kumar alias Labhu, a resident of Rurrki village in Phillaur, on the charges of raping a minor. Station house officer (SHO) Rupinder Singh said in his complaint to the police the victim's father said that the accused came to his house to attend a family function.

The SHO said that a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused.
