Man held for selling plastic thread
The division number 4 police have arrested a Shiv Sena (Samajwadi) youth wing leader for selling banned plastic kite string at his shop. A case under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused, who has been identified as Vishal Madan of Durgapuri, Haibowal.

The division number 4 police have arrested a Shiv Sena (Samajwadi) youth wing leader for selling banned plastic kite string at his shop. A case under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused, who has been identified as Vishal Madan of Durgapuri, Haibowal.
Sub-inspector Gurmel Singh said the police raided the shop of the accused following a tip-off. Around 90 roles of the plastic kite string were seized.
The sale and storage of the plastic string has been banned by the police commissioner.
