Gurdiyal Singh, aged around 60, a resident of White Enclave in Amritsar, died on the spot when his scooter rammed into a speeding 108 Ambulance at the busy Majitha Road.

The victim's wife and grandson were also with him and were taken to a local hospital. They are stated to be in a critical condition.
Inspector Vavinder Singh of Sadar police station said, "The ambulance driver has been identified as Harmandeep Singh, in late twenties.
