Manish Tewari thanks rly minister for daily Ludhiana-Delhi Shatabdi

The union information and broadcasting minister Manish Tewari on Monday thanked union railway minister Malikarjun Kharge for the daily Ludhiana to Delhi Shatabdi Express.

The union information and broadcasting minister Manish Tewari on Monday thanked union railway minister Malikarjun Kharge for the daily Ludhiana to Delhi Shatabdi Express.

Earlier the train was running four days a week.

In a statement issued here on Monday, Tewari said he was thankful to the ministry officials who ensured that the Ludhiana-Delhi Shatabdi was made to operate daily from September 8.

The minister said not only did it provide another link to the people of Ludhiana and surrounding areas, but almost the entire Malwa region, with a two minute stoppage at Sangrur, and parts of Haryana, including the areas surrounding Jind and Rohtak.

Tewari said the train had been extended up to Moga since December last and now had stoppages at Jagaraon, Sangrur, Jind and Rohtak also.
