Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University's mathematics department organised a workshop on Thursday.

The objective of the workshop was to explore the applications of mathematics in various fields of science and engineering.

Guest speaker Professor Len Gelman delivered a lecture on applied aspects of mathematics. He discussed the use of adaptive higher-order spectra in various practical applications such as simulation of damaged machinery units and for diagnosing nonlinearity cracks in human bones, aircrafts and telecommunications.
