Missing boy handed over to parents

A six-year-old child who was found in abandoned condition near Kailash Chowk on Monday evening was handed over to his parents on Tuesday.

A six-year-old child who was found in abandoned condition near Kailash Chowk on Monday evening was handed over to his parents on Tuesday.

Shopkeepers near Kailash Chowk found Adarsh crying and took him to police station division number 4.

According to ASI Paramjit Singh, the child knew the name of his father, mother and siblings, but was not aware about the name of his colony.

The police had made announcement in surrounding areas. At last, on Tuesday evening, the family contacted the police. After verifying, the police handed over the child to them.

Ram Bahadur, father of the child, said Adarsh has left house while playing and went missing. They had tried a lot to find him. On Tuesday, they got a message from area people that the division number 4 police have found a child following which they contacted the police.
