Former chief minister Shanta Kumar on Sunday said that BJP prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi is the only hope for the country.
Addressing a gathering at Sujanpur Tihra before the arrival of Narendra Modi, the former CM said that under the Congress rule the country had become hollow to the extent that India is now counted among weak countries of the world.
Slamming the ruling UPA alliance for corruption, he said: “Corruption runs in Congress from Shimla to Delhi."
He also urged take the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a chance to save the country.”
