Coming down heavily on Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi, information and broadcasting minister Manish Tewari on Wednesday said Modi's political primer started with 'F' (fake encounters) and ended with 'G' (genocide).

Replying to a question about Modi's statement where he had said that Congress's A, B, C was Adarsh, Bofors and Commonwealth, Tewari, at a press conference, along with textile minister KS Rao here, said the Congress owed no explanation to anyone about its ABC or XYZ, adding that it was known to everybody that Modi's political primer started with 'F' and ended with 'G'.

Tewari said Modi's regime is known more for "fake encounters" and the "genocide" and he should try to learn his own political primer than delivering sermons to others.

On a question about the BJP accusing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of being remote controlled by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Tewari said Gandhi is the president of the party having 205 seats in Parliament and is also the chairperson of the UPA, so there was nothing wrong in the Prime Minister consulting her.

Terming the Muzaffarnagar riots as unfortunate, he said it was time to ease out the situation and take stern action against the guilty and not indulge in blame game.
