The message went across to the people in pamphlets distributed by the Sabha.

The pamphlet asked the people to question the Akali-BJP candidate about the Rs 4000 crore allocated for the SC sub-plan in the annual budget of 2012-13.

The question they should ask is why this money has lapsed and not spent on various welfare schemes for the SC community. The president of the Sabha, Paramjit Singh Kainth led the delegation pamphlet exposes the Akali-BJP government for ignoring the problems of the SC community.

Kainth further states substantiating with figures that while appointing police officials the SC officers are ignored.

"In the six DIG ranges and four IG zones there is not a single SC officer. In the nine universities there is not a single vice-chancellor from this community. Punjab has five municipal corporations. Not a single SC has been appointed a mayor," he said.

Others who were part of the delegation were Dalip Singh, Paramjit Rai, Narpinder Singh, Ranjit Kalsi and Amit Jassi.
