Mohindera College to get multi-storey parking soon

Taking serious note of shortage of parking problem at Government Mohindera College, the Punjab government has decided to construct a multi-storey parking for the students on the college campus.

Taking serious note of shortage of parking problem at Government Mohindera College, the Punjab government has decided to construct a multi-storey parking for the students on the college campus.

Punjab rural development and panchayat minister Surjit Singh Rakhra handed over a cheque of `50 lakh to the college principal Sukhbir Singh Thind for the project.

Divulging information, Thind said the construction of the parking zone with a capacity to accommodate 80 cars and more than 500 two-wheelers would be completed by the next year.

Lauding the efforts of the college principal, Rakhra said the government was keen on providing all sorts of help needed for the overall development of the students and college.

On his visit, Rakhra also inspected the ongoing construction of rooms, computers and multimedia hall at the college.

On the occasion, students of fine arts held a special exhibition, in which around 140 students participated.
