Nine women held with 7 stolen mobiles phones

The city police have arrested nine women, all residents of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, and allegedly seized seven stolen mobiles phones from their possession.

A case under sections 379 (punishment for theft) and 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been registered against them at the D-Division police station. Investigating officer Bhagwan Singh said further investigations were being held.
