"My stature is much taller than Phoolka and his statements do not carry any weight for me as he is doing all this to remain in news. Moreover, my party workers are replying to his statements," Sukhbir said.

The deputy CM along with Punjab revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia was in Jagraon, Ludhiana, on Wednesday to review the arrangements for the Fateh Rally, scheduled for February 23. Sukhbir said people from across the state would come to listen to the BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi and the rally would change the political landscape of the country.

Asked whether Yadvinder Yadu who is allegedly involved in the Khanna murder case was a member of the Akali Dal or not, Sukhbir didn't give a direct reply. Instead, he stated that if Yadu was found guilty in the investigations law would take its course. He added that every political party had such elements.
