Sharma, whose name has been sent by the party' state poll committee from Amritsar, on Saturday, said that he has decided not to contest the polls but to provide his services to the party in managing the elections.

"I am not at all interested to contest and has conveyed this to the party high command as well. It's a categorical no," said Sharma, answering a question over his chances during a press conference here.

While disclosing the plans of the party for mobilising workers in all the assembly constituencies fought by BJP on its own, Sharma said different organisations of the party would arrange different events to mobilise cadres for the rally.

As per the schedule announced by the state president, on February 16, the party's women wing will organise 'Jago' in every constituency in the evening whereas, on February 17, the party's Kisan Morcha will arrange tractor rallies.

On February 18, the Scheduled Caste Morcha will hold a 'pad yatra'.

A special poster for the Modi's rally was also released.
