CPM candidate from Ludhiana Sukhwinder Singh Sekhon has enrolled as a voter from Pamali village of Dakha assembly constituency, as Sukhwinder Singh Sekhon, son of Jora Singh Sekhon, voter card number LCL1314269. Pamali is his ancestral village.

He is also enrolled from Har nam Nagar in Ludhiana west constituency, where CPM’s office is located, as Sukhwinder Singh, son of Jora Singh, voter card number GKC1759737.

When contacted, Sekhon rued conspiracy, adding, “Why will I enrol as a voter twice, if I have a vote from my village Pamali. I am not aware about this.”

“It is a conspiracy in which the block-level officers (BLOs) are involved to damage my image. I will file a complaint with the district electoral officer in this context,” he added.
