Some secret documents, border-area pictures, maps, and a Pakistani subscriber's identity module (SIM) card are what the Fazilka police claim to have seized from the man said to be planted by the Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI) agency of the neighbouring country.

Suspect Tarsem Singh is Indian and from Ward 5 of Jalalabad. "He is involved in anti-national activities and sending information and sensitive material to the ISI," Sukhdev Singh Kahlon, senior superintendent of police, Fazilka, said after the arrest. "We trapped him when he was driving a motorcycle to Jalalabad."

The Pakistani SIM card was seized from Tarsem's house and now the police might send him to the joint interrogation centre in Amritsar.
