Centre for development economics and innovation studies (CDEIS) and the department of economics of the Punjabi University would organise an international seminar, 'Programme for International Conference on Human Development and Knowledge Economy', on February 19 and 20.

The seminar would be inaugurated by Ashutosh Chadha, director, corporate affairs south Asia, Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd, New Delhi.
Dr Leonardo A Lanzona, junior professor of economics and director of Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines, would be the main speaker at the inaugural seminar of the conference.
Vice chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, Dr ADN Bajpai, would be the guest of honour.
