The alumni of the all-boys batch of 1963 travelled from far and wide - some came from abroad - to be a part of the reunion. To make the day special, the organisers had managed to make ID cards, carrying the college-days pictures of the alumni.

Nostalgia could be seen gripping the former students as they shared old memories. Vijay Ralhan, who had come all the way from the US, said he was meeting his batch-mates after 50 years. “Though I have been in touch with a few, I am meeting most of my mates from college after a long time”. The alumni moved around the PEC campus and also visited hostel Shivalik to reminisce old days.

To Arun Kumar Trikha, the spirit of the institute had not changed a single bit. “The premises have undergone huge change, but I can still sense that the essence remains the same,” Trikha, who came with his wife Ellen, all the way from the US.

Ellen said it was her second visit to the campus. “It is really good to be a part of the reunion.” Walking down the corridors of their hostel, many said nothing much had changed in their rooms. The reunion was the outcome of the efforts of the alumni living in the US. They had got in touch in 2005 and began holding meets ever since.
