Police nab auto lifter, seize nine motorcycles

The police arrested alleged auto-lifter Narinder Singh alias Ninda and seized nine motorcycles stolen by him. Assistant sub-inspector Nishan Singh, in-charge of Ranjit Avenue police check post, said Narinder was caught with one motorcycle and 400gm of toxic powder.

Assistant sub-inspector Nishan Singh, in-charge of Ranjit Avenue police check post, said Narinder was caught with one motorcycle and 400gm of toxic powder. During questioning Narinder admitted to having stolen nine motorcycles from various parts of the city. Narinder's accomplice, Balwinder, was arrested and three motorcycles recovered from him, said Nishan.

The police confirmed that fake registration certificates and voter identity cards were found with the accused.
