The Punjab government has posted additional director general of police (ADGP) VK Bhawra as ADGP, human rights and internal vigilance cell. He had been awaiting a posting after his return from ex-India leave.

Another IPS officer, IG (reserve battalion) Paramjit Singh, has been given additional charge of IG (investigation), Lokpal, Punjab, a spokesman said here on Friday.
AIG (intelligence) Harpreet Singh has been transferred to the Punjab vigilance bureau (VB) at the disposal of the VB director, an official said.
