Punjab government on Saturday decided to upload the e-textbooks for the coming academic session on the Punjab School Education Board’s website for the ease of the students.

It was disclosed by education minister Aruna Chaudhary in a press communiqué released here on Saturday after a high-level meeting of the board. She said any student can download the e-textbook after logging into the board’s website and clicking the books folder icon. She said out of the total 350 text books prescribed for the government schools in the state, 107 e-textbooks were already available. She said 22 more e-textbooks will be uploaded by April 15 and 17 more by the end of May.
She said instructions have been passed to the officials to examine the content of the textbooks and if they feel any need to alter the content, they should do that at the earliest, so that students can get the books at the beginning of academic session.
