Daughter-in-law of the CM and Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal, in town on Thursday to attend a sangat darshan (meet the public forum), when questioned on the issue, said: "Rahul Gandhi Nu Phelan Rajnitik Tehjib Sikhni Chahidi hai (Rahul Gandhi should first learn some basic manners in politics."

"He insulted his own prime minister by calling an ordinance, passed by the Union Cabinet, nonsense," she added.

"In this case too, Rahul not only committed a mistake by not inviting the CM to the inauguration, but has not even invited former chief minister from his own party, Captain Amarinder Singh, a leader who headed the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee for 10 years. This is not really the way you practise politics."

Interestingly, all invitations to the event have been sent by the PGI.

She held sangat darshan programmes in Goniana Klan, Jeeda, Janda Wala, Kheyali Wala, Amargarh, Mehma Swai, Kothe Sandhuan and Kothe Phula Singh villages.
