Chairman of the railway board Arunendra Kumar on Sunday visited the DMW, a production unit of the railways.
He flagged off a diesel electric locomotive, useful for yard shunting and passenger trains.

Kumar emphasized the need to gear up so that the DMW was able to provide necessary support required in context of changing requirements , including the need for greater customer satisfaction.
Earlier, AK Kansal, chief administrative officer, apprised the chairman of different activities being undertaken by the DMW and diversification works.
A formal presentation was also made to the visiting dignitary highlighting the achievement of enhanced production targets of the DMW.
