According to Shivinder Singh, a scientist at the IMD, the monsoon movement had temporarily shifted downwards, but now it is expected to bring rain to Chandigarh again. “Although rain is expected to stay between light to moderate intensity, heavy rain is also possible in isolated areas in Punjab and Haryana,” he said.
