Rs 1-cr for Ramdev's head: BSP candidate

Bhagwan Singh Chohan ,Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP’s) candidate from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat, has announced a bounty of 1 crore on yoga guru Ramdev for his alleged anti - Dalit remarks.

Bhagwan Singh Chohan ,Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP’s) candidate from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat, has announced a bounty of 1 crore on yoga guru Ramdev for his alleged anti - Dalit remarks. “I am ready to pay 1 crore to the person who will bring his (Ramdev’s) head to me,” the BSP leader had said on Sunday while burning the yoga guru’s effigy near the Hoshiarpur bus stand for his alleged anti-Dalit remarks targeting Rahul Gandhi.

Chohan said on Monday that he stood by his statement on Ramdev.

“What is wrong in my statement? If Ramdev could insult womanhood, why cannot I give such statement?” Chohan said.

Hoshiarpur deputy commissioner Tanu Kashyap has directed her administration to take appropriate action in this regard.
