The "Insaaf"(justice) rally will be held in Naushehra Pannuan in Tarn Taran district on September 28, SAD (A) chief Simranjit Singh Mann said here on Sunday.

"The rally will demand punishment of perpetrators of anti-Sikh riots in 1984. It will also demand opening uo of Indo-Pak border by removing the barbed-wire fences to enable farmers in Punjab, who have land across the border, to move freely,"Mann said.

He added that his party will decide contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha polls after the rally.

"Presently we are reluctant to contest in the polls as we lack funds. `11 crore is needed for contesting a single Lok Sabha seat,"the Akali leader added.

He demanded a high-level probe into allegations that an intelligence unit, set up during former Army Chief Gen VK Singh's tenure had attempted to topple the Omar Abdullah government.

On coronation of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as BJP's prime ministerial candidate, Mann said the move will polarise the country.

Punjab is being run by a gang of four- CM PS Baal, deputy CM Sukhir Baal, Sukhbir's brother-in-law Bikram Majithia and MP wife Harsimrat Kaur,"the SAD (A) chief added.
