A SAD worker was nabbed with illicit liquor on Tuesday.

A SAD worker was nabbed with illicit liquor on Tuesday.

Sadhu Singh, a resident of Mandi Kalan, along with one Iqbal Singh of Mansa Khurd, was nabbed with 72 cases of illicit liquor by the Maur police.

A case under the Excise Act has been registered against the two. The liquor was stored in an SUV. The Mahindra Xylo from which the illicit liquor was recovered had a sticker of the Youth Akali Dal affixed on it but it was removed later.

ASI Iqbal Hussain said he had come to know that a sticker was affixed on the back of the car but it was removed by unidentified persons.
