Two unidentified motorcyclists stopped a schoolteacher in Kartar Nagar of Model Town and groped her in full public view on Friday. When the woman resisted, the accused allegedly thrashed her and fled.

The Model Town police have registered a case of molestation and thrashing against unidentified accused.
In her complaint, the woman, a resident of New Kartar Nagar, alleged that when she was on her way to the school in the morning, two miscreants stopped her and started molesting her. When she resisted, the accused thrashed her and fled.
Local shopkeepers came to her rescue that took her home.
Head Constable Jagjit Singh, who is investigating the matter, said the police were trying to identify the accused.
