Sexual harassment case: Haryana IAS officer Roy asked to go on leave

Haryana government on Tuesday asked senior IAS officer SN Roy, against whom a complained of sexual harassment is being inquired into, was asked to proceed on leave.

Haryana government on Tuesday asked senior IAS officer SN Roy, against whom a complained of sexual harassment is being inquired into, was asked to proceed on leave.

A Panchkula-based woman had given a complaint against Roy about three months ago to director general of police YP Singal accusing Roy of sexually exploiting her after promising to marry her, but did not.

Singal referred the case to inspector general of police, Chandigarh on Monday on the demand of the complainant.
