Status of appointments by previous government sought

Haryana chief secretary Shakuntala Jakhu on Wednesday sought the status of all announcements, appointments and recruitments made by the previous Congress government after May 16, 2014. The council of ministers of the newly-elected BJP government in the state had on Monday sought a review of these.

In a communication sent to all departments on Wednesday, the state government asked for the current status of these announcements, appointments and recruitments. The information is to be submitted by October 30.

A proforma detailing the state of the announcement, whether approval of the CM and finance department has been taken, is to be submitted. Similarly, another proforma seeks information on the number of posts advertised etc.
