Services in public sector banks were completely paralysed on Wednesday as bank employees observed a one-day strike seeking wage revision.
The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), an umbrella organisation of employees of various public sector banks and officers' associations, had given a call to strike on Wednesday.

However, ATMs functioned normally at most places. Private sector banks were not a part of the protest.
