Suvidha centres in Nawanshahr, Banga and Balachaur will remain open on Saturday and people can make certificates of SC/BC and residential certificates.
ADC Amarjeet Pal said that this decision has been taken in view of the last date of nomination by candidates for the panchayat elections on Saturday. He said that numbers of counters are also being increased at these centres and candidates can submit their nomination papers without SC/BC certificates on Saturday, but they will have to bring these certificates on June 24.
