Teen girl, man test positive for dengue

A 17-year-old girl from Bonkar Dogra, Ludhiana, was tested positive for dengue at Lord Mahavira Civil Hospital on Saturday. A man from Rupnagar district admitted in Dayanand Medical College and Hospital was also found suffering from the diseases.

District epidemiologist Dr Anil Verma has urged residents to keep their surroundings clean and not to allow water to stagnant by changing water in coolers and flower pots on regular basis.
The total number of dengue cases reported from Ludhiana has reached to 34, of which 22 patients belong to Ludhiana district.
