Thieves strike at PNB in Nawanshahr’s Pharala branch

Two unidentified burglars strike at Punjab National Bank’s branch in Pharala village near Behram and decamped with land registration documents after opening two lockers there in the wee hours on Saturday.

Two unidentified burglars strike at Punjab National Bank’s branch in Pharala village near Behram and decamped with land registration documents after opening two lockers there in the wee hours on Saturday.

Thieves failed to open the safe that contained Rs 18 lakh cash and other lockers in the bank which had gold jewelry worth crores.

The thieves took away LPG cylinder also.

The five CCTV cameras installed inside the bank have captured the entire incident.

Senior cops rushed there after getting the information and started the probe.
