"The details about the campaign will be decided after May 31," Hooda said.

The former chief minister maintained that the Jan Sampark Abhiyan is being launched by the Haryana Congress and on whether he will call Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) chief Ashok Tanwar, Hooda said, "Anybody (from Congress) can join us, as the Jan Sampark Abhiyan aims to create awareness among people about the misrule of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state." Hooda added that there were no differences in the Haryana Congress and all leaders were united.

Hooda was accompanied by his loyals including former Haryana Vidhan Sabha speakers Kuldeep Sharma and Raghubir Kadiyan, Meham MLA Anand Singh Dangi and former MLAs Krishan Murati Hooda and BB Batra.

Hooda said that the Khattar government in Haryana had failed to protect the interest of the farming community as they were running from pillar to post to get compensation for damaged crop.
